The EcoBass™ Trap are a 4” thick bonded cotton panel. They are used as bass traps. This material would be installed in a box frame that would be constructed specifically for bass frequency absorption. Generally the bass boxes are constructed by the end user or are purchased from a speaker enclosure manufacturer. The EcoBass™ Trap bonded cotton panels fit inside of a box type frame that is 2’ X 4’ that has at least 4 inches of depth. Once you have filled the box frame with the EcoBass™ Trap material we recommend that you install a grill cloth over the face of the box using an acoustically neutral fabric such as a Guilford FR-701 fabric. The EcoBass™ Trap panels offer superior low frequency bass absorption and significantly reduce the echo and reverberation within a room especially in the lower frequency ranges
